The Wairarapa juniors who attended the Junior Gasshuku came away wanting to know when the next one was, as they all had a fabulous weekend of training.

Sensei Rajesh, Sensei Binh and Sensei Steve had all the juniors attending the camp focused and enthusiastic throughout all the trainings. A few fun times were thrown in which seemed to just make the juniors more energetic.

After each training our children were wanting to know when the next one started and what would they be doing. It was great to see the children training with others from different dojo's around the North Island.

The accommodation and food was very well organised and congratulations to Sensei Binh, his wife Kim and Kim's mother for their organisational skills. It was a great atmosphere at the camp and great to meet new people involved in karate and putting their own time into the children.

The instructors (Sensei Rajesh, Sensei Binh, Sensei Steve) should be congratulated, as it being the first camp and a learning curve, it was successful.

We hope that this will be a yearly event and we will certainly be taking a group again next year.

Thank you for running a camp for skills, I really liked it.
I learnt a lot of stuff especially in my kata.
I hope we could do one next year.
