South Island Training Camp and Kyu Grading

Sensei Bakkies Laubscher is Chief Isntructor of South Africa, Technical Advisor of International Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate Do Federation (IOGKF) and the oldest non-asian student of Higaonna Morio Sensei. The Twin City Gasshuku is a unique opportunity to train in traditional Karate Do in the spirit of Budo as taught by the original Okinawan Masters. You can allow yourself not only a great experience by training in both cities, but also memorable sightseeing on the days in-between. |

2010 Southern Districts Multi-Style Martial Arts Karate Championships

2010 Youth Gasshuku and Tournament

2010 Ubuntu Gasshuku and World Friendship Tournament in South Africa

Event | 1 K | 14-Apr-2010 | In October 2010 IOGKF South Africa is hosting one of the most unique events in IOGKF history! This week long event will be supervised by Grand Master Higaonna Morio, aided by Bakkies Laubscher Sensei and other prominent senior IOGKF instructors. Members will have the opportunity to attend and participate in one of the following three official IOGKF events. 1/ The 2010 IOGKF Country Chief Instructors’ Gasshuku for country chief instructors and senior members of 5th Dan and higher. 2/ An IOGKF International Gasshuku, known as the Ubuntu Gasshuku, which runs from Monday 25 October until Friday 29. 3/ The Official 2010 IOGKF World Friendship Tournament – a tournament held every four years - which will be held on Saturday 30 October. |
