Oceania Gasshuku 2007 Event 1 K 14-Dec-2006 Oceania gasshuku and Dan grading. Guest instructor is IOGKF World Chief Instructor Sensei Morio Higaonna. Venue location and training schedule will be available closer to the Gasshuku date.

2007 World IOGKF Karate Gasshuku, Masters’ Demonstration & Kata Championship Event 1 K 05-Dec-2006 The Academy of martial Arts, India (IOGKF India) is hosting the 2007 World IOGKF Karate Gasshuku. The event is to be held from May 15-22, 2007 in Goa, India. Shihan Morio Higaonna will be the Chief Instructor at the Gasshuku and as well as Goju training there will be Kalarypyatt and Yoga workshops. Any registered IOGKFNZ member is welcome to attend.
Australian IOGKF National Gasshuku Event 1 K 25-Mar-2007 The 2007 Australian IOGKF National Gasshuku and blackbelt grading is being held in Sydney, Australia on April 27-29. See contact details below for all enquires.

Hawkes' Bay Spring Camp Event 1 K 11-Sep-2007 Annual Hawkes' Bay Regional Spring Camp hosted by the Napier/Taradale Dojo at the Omatua Girl Guides Complex. Arrive on Friday October 26th from 1600 Hrs onwards. Camp will run until until 1200Hrs on Sunday October 28th.
Goju Ryu National Tournament Event 1 K 09-Jun-2007 The Goju Ryu national tournament for 2007 will be held at Victoria University on Saturday July 14 and will include competition in kata and kumite (shiai/points-sparring and iri kumi).
Australian Gasshuku 2007 Event 1 K 12-Jun-2007 The Australian Gasshuku will be held in Canberra 12th - 14th October 2007 with guest instructor Sensei Bakkies Laubscher from South Africa.
Wairarapa Region Friendship Tournament Event 1 K 14-Jun-2007 Wairarapa Region Friendship Tournament, Sunday 17th June from 10.00am to 3.00 pm. Competitions are for Kata, Iri kumi Ju and Shiai (points sparring).
Otago Gasshuku - Dunedin Event 1 K 30-Jun-2007 The 2007 Otago Gasshuku will be held in Dunedin. Instructor is Sensei Brian McGhie, 6th Dan.

2nd International Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate-Do Hilir Perak Invitational Open Championship - 2007 Malaysia Event 1 K 08-Sep-2007 This event will be held on the 17th and 18th of November, 2007 at Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia. Competition will be in Kata and Kumite. Please contact IOGKFNZ Secretary Matt Frevel for full details.
OTGKA Honbu Seminar Event 1 K 15-Sep-2007 Bakkies Sensei, 8th dan IOGKF, and Chief Instructor of South Africa, will be in London for a seminar at the OTGKA Honbu Dojo in London on 27/28 October. Sensei George Andrews, 7th dan IOGKF, will also be instructing. If anyone has a student who will be in the UK at this time please let them know.

South Island Gasshuku 2008 Event 1 K 20-Jan-2008 The 2008 South Island Gasshuku will be held in Ranfurly Friday February 29th and in Dunedin Sat March 1st - Mon March 3rd. Guest instructor is IOGKF Vice Chairman Terauchi Kazuo Sensei, 8th Dan, from Japan.
Hawkes' Bay Spring Camp Event 1 K 15-Jan-2008 Annual Hawkes' Bay Regional Spring Camp hosted by the Napier/Taradale Dojo at the Omatua Girl Guides Complex. Arrive on Friday October 31st from 4pm onwards. Camp will run until until 12 noon on Sunday November 2nd.
North Island Gasshuku 2008 Event 1 K 24-Mar-2008 The IOGKFNZ North Island Gasshuku for 2008 will be held at Waihi Beach from November 21st-23rd. Sun, sand, surf and lots of training including beach training sessions.
Regional Black Belt Seminar Event 1 K 23-Jan-2008 Seminar for black belts and 1st kyu members only, held in Hamilton Feb 2nd. Guest Instructor Rajesh Ravji, 5th Dan, IOGKFNZ. Focus will be on kata and kata bunkai.
Kids Karate Camp & Adults Tournament Coaching Camp Event 1 K 15-Apr-2008 Two events are being held in Turangi on 10th & 11th May 2008, from 1pm Saturday to 3pm Sunday: the IOGKFNZ North Island JUNIORS Gasshuku 2008, open to kids aged 7-18 years, & the IOGKFNZ Tournament Coaching Camp 2008 for all adults who are interested in competing in Kata or point scoring Kumite.
Hamburg Summer Gasshuku 2008 Event 1 K 17-May-2008 The 13th International Hamburg Summer Gasshuku will be held from September 12-14th with Guest Instructors Sensei Ernie Moleneux (7th Dan and England Chief Instructor), Sensei Roy Flatt (7th Dan, from England) and Sensei Sydney Leijenhorst (5th Dan and Netherlands Chief Instructor).
